The fate of Arulen rests in the hands of two young adventurers: the Ranger Will and his warrior friend, Horace. And now the time has come for this onetime apprentice to grow up and protect the one he loves. Will Barton has been keeping track of Alyss, the girl he liked for the past years in the castle with three other kids:Horace,George, and Jenny. The Adventure will never end for Will.
An example of Will growing up to protect the one he loves is on page 79 in the book Ranger's Apprentice Book 9.Will Barton has been keeping track of Alyss, the girl he liked for the past years in the castle with three other kids:Horace,George, and Jenny. In the text,"Will finished deciphering the last few words of Alyss's message." And on page 252,"Alyss,"he said quietly,"I love you."this shows that he admits his true feelings to her,she doesn't remember anything after hypnotized by Keren, but instead of him admitting it to her first,he gets a big surprise!Alyss loves him for who he is and that she will never give up on him no matter what.
the next day came and halt said farewell to all his friends especially Gilan ,his former apprentice before will, remembering will ,he remembered that it was him who brought so much joy and happiness into his miserable life. After the farewells he went back to the trail he was on before he was interrupted by the former friends. In the end he was apprenticed to the ranger Halt, a moody and stern teacher but later on he found out that his father saved Halt from a troop of Wargals(ugly misshapen beasts). Then Halt felt the need to save the child form starvation so he left him on the front door of the ward with a note attached to the blanket ,reading simply:.
In conclusion I think that this onetime apprentice to grownup to protect the one he loves and truly cares about.Horace says it might not be a dream. He believes it's a memory.I wish with all my heart that he's right, and that you did say what i think you said.He also told me that people like you and me spend too much time thinking things over and not enough time just coming out and saying them.I think he's right.
